Statistics Consultations for Non-Students, i.e. Employees and External Partners

Welcome to the website for the statistical consulting service offered by the Statistics Group at IGM.

  

The consulting service can in principle take part in any project with statistical issues that requires expert assistance, but longer lasting projects have our main attention. Anyone is, however, entitled to an initial free meeting to discuss data and clarify the expected scope and outcome of a project collaboration.

 

 

The term for a started project is currently DKK 600,- per hour for KU LIFE staff and DKK 1200,- for external partners. If more than one meeting with the consultant is needed then a minimum period of 15 hours is usually demanded. Co-authorship or not should be discussed before the consultant becomes deeply involved in the analyses. A meeting or two is not a basis for coauthorship, but if the consultant carries out (a substantial part of the) analyses co-authorship is natural and expected.  

 

The assistance of the consultant is first and foremost to do the required statistical analysis and/or construct the design of the study (yet not carried out). Usually the consultant will also write relevant parts of papers made on basis of the analyses.
