Bioorganic Chemistry

Main research activities 

The research in bioorganic chemistry is peptide chemistry and combinatorial chemistry in relation to disease prevention, diagnosis and therapy.

 

Peptide research is one of the fastest growing areas of bioorganic chemistry, and the group attracts much national and international attention.

 

Research in Chemical Ecology focus on identification and quantitative determination of specific compounds in plants in relation to insect attacks on the plants.
